Jo's birthday

Hi everyone!

Last month, it was a month full of birthdays of my friends!
And this time round, it's Jo's turn!

Her birthday celebration was a little different from the usual...
Cos...

We went prawning instead!

Yes! It was my first time prawning and I must say then I super awesome!
Why? Cos I prawned a half-dead prawn! (- -;)

Yes~ Like what~? Right?

Here we have Wendy, Ban Theng and Steve at the table eating away~
Of course, everyone was done prawning by then!

Courtesy of Jo's dad!

Ok~ These aren't prawns. They are.... ya-bi?
Honestly speaking, I have no idea how to spell it and I have no idea whether is that even in English or not.

But these are like in between prawns and lobster.

And! They taste good! That's the most important right?

Steve finally taking the step and trying one of those ya-bi-s~

Super duper candid shot I captured when I was like snapping photos of Steve non-stop.

*Well, he sat right opposite me which made him a super good target to take photos off*

TADA!!! The beered prawns which all of us prawned!

Sherwin and the small prawn he prawned!

And of course, what's a birthday without a cake yo?!

Group shots!

And here's the poloroids taken!

Neko-mimi hat was like the star of the night! LOL~

Ok! That's all for this post!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Sponsored

Hi everyone!

I posted the above photo on my Facebook Page last month with some of the prettiest notebook in my hands.
And these notebooks are from Kokoro, which means Heart in Japanese.

I was given a few notebooks of Kokoro and I must say that I really love them alot!

I'm actually a person who loves to write and note down stuff like my thoughts and emotions at like THAT point of moment kind of person. So what I do is that I'll always have a pen and a notebook with me!

So yup! I actually brought along the leather covered small notebook along with me to my Hong Kong trip. Not only did I note that places that I visited and wanted to visit and stuff, of course, I noted down my feelings and emotions throughout my trip from the point of time where I was at the airport alone before the flight to Hong Kong.

Yea, the small sized notebook actually fit into the inner pocket of my handbag!
Loves~!

These 2 are my favourite designs of the notebook covers!

Of course, Kokoro will be having more designs coming up in future!
Just can't wait!

Not only do I like the designs of the notebooks, the sizes of the notebook while they have small and medium both with normal or leather covers, I must say I really love the quality of the notebooks, the paper used and the whole make of them all!

You can get your own Kokoro notebooks from Kinokuniya!

Go check them out!

*ahem* I know Kinokuniya is having their 20% discount again this weekend so it's a great time to go check these pretty Japanese notebooks out!

Apricot goodness!

Hi everyone!

Okay~ Once again this is a super delayed post on my (not so) new hair colour.
By now, it has already faded (like previously) but still, I find the colour awesome!
After fading, the colour seems more of a pastel colour instead which is still NAISU~!

Got my hair done with Justin, again, which is super awesome!
That's his assistant, Jayden, in the photo above.

Isn't her hair colour freaking awesome!?!?

Like I said previously, I love getting my hair done by Justin and I seriously recommend you to look for him if you were to go to Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio to get your hair done!

I recommended my collaegue to request for him when she went for her hair cut and yup! She likey~

Back to my hair and goodbye siclament pink hair!

Jayden brought me yummy hot milo after knowing that I have yet to take my lunch before getting my hair done!

Yummmmms!!!!

Hot milo 最高!

I didn't really spend much time discussing about the hair colour with Justin this time round. All I told him is that I wanted a colour that no one else has!

He roughly told me what's he's gonna do and roughly how would it look like in the end and yes! I just let him do it!

It sure have been a really long time since I last trusted a hair stylist that much!
LOVES!!!

Applied the colour on directly without any bleaching this time round!
Yeeeeaaaaah~

Now you ready for the end result?

Hip hip hurray for Apricot!!!

Freaking love the colour!

It's loud and yea no one else on the streets of Singapore has it (yet) !!!

Love it love it love it

Once again, I LOVE IT!!!

Awesomeness up close!

Do take note that Shunji Matsuo Hiar Studio is now shifted to Ngee Ann City instead of The Heerens!

Can't wait to visit their new location during my next hair appointment!

Stay pretty everyone!!!

What's in my luggage? Skincare + Cosmetics

Hi everyone!

Okay~ I'm still packing my luggage for Hong Kong cos I can't decide what clothes should I bring over still even though I know that I would be buying (hopefully) some (only) when I'm there.

So I thought of taking some time out to show you some of the stuff I packed in my luggage unlike just a brief video that I did during my Jakarta trip last year.

First I shall start with skincare!

1. KATE Mineral UV Base
2. Hada Labo Lifting + Firming Lotion
3. Hada Labo Lifting + Firming Moisturiser
4. Loreal Hair Serum
5. Hair Sciences Hair Growth Treatment
6. Biore Radiant Sunscreen
7. Kila Doll Hyaluronic Acid Masks

(Top left to right to bottom)

Ok. I know it's not fully skincare but oh well.. shall just catergorise them under "SKINCARE". Lol~

Notice that I didn't bring my Holika Holika Baby Bloom Makeup Base?

Well, that's simply because the bottle is just too big!
So instead, I brought along my KATE UV Base and with the Biore Radiant Sunscreen, my skintone will still look good!

Next up! I guess more people would be more interested in this... Cosmetics!

Bringing along with me 4 pairs of lashes.

1. Dolly Wink #2
2. My fav lashes from Daiso (don't know how to tell you the design exactly)
3. Decorative Lash Play Sexy #1

3. Melliesh Lavender Highlighter
3. Melliesh Baby Pink Blusher
4. CandyDoll Peach Pink Blusher

10. K-Palette Black WP Eyeliner
11. K-Palette Brown WP Eyeliner
12. KATE Real Create Eyes BR-2

(Left to right, in no particular order)

Ok. I know it seems like there quite a number of items that are repeating like 2 eyebrow powder and stuff.

Well, that's because some of them are already running on and I guess they would be disposed there in Hong Kong.

Everything else!

1. Canmake Eyelash Curler
2. Heroine Make Eyelash Glue

I know. You may be thinking "Why on earth do I need 3 eyelash glues?!"

My Heroine Make lash glue is running out so the Lash Grip is a spare.
As for DollyWink, I use it to stick my double eyelid.

So ya~

Ok. I may add or take out things. But so far, this is what I decided on bringing.

Alright~ That's all for now!

Flying off soon~!

Hi everyone!

Ok.. This is a short scheduled post.

By the time you're reading this, I'm most probably be busy packing my luggage for Hong Kong!!!

Ok. I am not as excitied as I was just last month cos out of sudden, I feel a little lost.
Lol~ I have no idea why~

I've never felt like this before a trip before at all!

Maybe cos it's my first actually getting my tickets booked like more than a month before the actual trip and stuff?

I don't know...

All my previous trips overseas were mostly impromtu.

A very good example is my very last trip to Jakarta with Mint which was SUPER last minute!

However, with all these said, I'm still very looking forward to this trip!

Okay. You guys reading long enough would realised that I rarely talk about my bf.
But this time I'm telling you that I am going on this trip with my bf!

But of course, we have other friends joining us over the weekend and not to mention my bf's friend(s) over there.

I won't be bring my laptop over cos it's just too heavy and I guess both my bf and I would be doing quite an amount of shopping so... ya...

I'll try to update my blog if possible along this trip with my iphone after I get my data SIM card there.

Lastly, realised I've gotten a new nail design?

I chose a really simple design this time around but still, it is very very pretty isn't it?

You can learn how to such pretty nails, too!

Check out more information at http://jnail.blogspot.sg/

Oki! That's all for now!

See you again, soon!

Hi everyone!

Mentholatum lip care has always been one of my favourite brands when it comes to lip balm simply because not only does the lip balm works well for me (which is like number ONE important on the list) their lip balms also comes in various scent which I absolutely ADORE!!!

*Ok. I know. Not a word I use commonly but I am just so affected by Himeko because of the video filming session we had at EK Media the other day*

That aside. But to Yeah! My love for Mentholatum lip care Lip Balms!

I mentioned before that the scent of the products that I use place a very important factor to as of whether will I use it which of course means would I even buy it in the first place.

Nowadays, everyone is like going "organic".

And as you can see, I was sponsored 2 different flavoured lipbalm from their organic lipbalm range!

And yup! Here I am, gonna try their Lavender & Orange flavoured lipbalm!

Frankly speaking, I am not a fan of Lavender but yes!
I am going to try it!!

*See! I so professional right?*
#Shameless

When this lipbalm was first applied on, I could really smell the scent of lavender on my lips! And slowly after that, I could smell the slight scent of orange that blends really well with the lavender!

For Lavender lovers, I would strongly recommend you to get this!

Not to mention that my lips are left really well moisturised for quite a long period after application!

So yea! I really LOVE this product!

It fulfiled the 2 very important factors of what I look for and want in my lipbalm!
