Monthly Flashblack: Sep '15

Hihi everyone!!

Well, I am still trying to get back to blogging but since I don't have much time to be in front of my laptop, I shall just post a post with all my random stuff that happened this month!

First up! At the start of the month I was very happy to be able to fly with my awesome batchmates Michelle and Vicki!

It's been a long long time since I even last saw them! Sadly, this is what's left from my batch thus I am very happy to even be able to meet them, not to mention fly with them, be all togethet for 10 days straight!

We went to New York together and since all of us have yet to visit Liberty Island even though we have been to New York for I-don't-even-know-how-many-times already, we decided to finally go see the Statue of Liberty!

Had a really awesome day out even though some bird decided to shit on my head even though there's thousands of people on the island...

We also went to get a ride on the SeaGlass Carousel cos it's just too pretty to resist!

We ended off our day with dinner at Res Lobster in Times Square which kinda is a usual thing for Vicki and I if we were to head downtown.

Back in Tokyo, we headed out to meet our other batchmate, Jasmine, and her boyfriend who were here for holiday!

We checked out the new cafe in Harajuku and followed by walking around and just chatting till evening!

Here's some photos of all the kawaii dishes served at the new cafe, Kawaii Monster Cafe!

I really miss just sitting down and chilling with all my batchmates!!!

Back in Singapore...

In September, it's also my dance batchmate's birthday!

So we met up all for dinner and for the first time, we actually had quite atas (expensive) food that night!

High-grade Wagyu beef platter for the 5 of us!

Ok. Here's a silly photo which I hardly post online.

And us acting kawaii!

Okay! That's all for this post!

Signing off from Tokyo, Tsuriki.

Long time no see!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for not blogging regularly as I've been really busy with work and studies here in Japan.

I was editing photos on my day at DisneySea yesterday but am not done yet so I'll post it up soon hopefully within these few days.

As for now, I'm in my hotel lobby blogging this using my phone as I don't wanna disturb the cleaning lady.

Today is a public holiday here in Japan so I don't have work but then again, I have 2 tests tomorrow. So soon later I will have to go back to my room and study!

Not forgetting Friday having another test~

Ok so here are some photos to share with you first even though they could be quite back dated already...

My Doraemon sushi with collaboration with the anniversary of Doraemon back in... July? Or August? I can't remember already...

And as Monsters University was coming up and is still showing now in cinemas here, there's a huge loads of Monsters products around and yes! I love Mike yo!!

And yup! Got to know that there's a Limited Edition Monsters series of Unibearsity bears before I went DisneyLand a couple of weeks back so I went to the Disney Store hoping to be able to get any and I manage to get only the mini mobile strap Sully. The only shop that has Mike is in Nagoya.

OMG~ anyone in Nagoya can help me get? #thickskinned

I love convenience stores especially 7-11 here as I can somehow get proper food even if I don't travel out to get food.

Just look at the meat in 7-11 udon bento! Huge love! Plus they will help me to make it hot which is good cos I'm always taking forever to figure what how long must I heat up my food in Singapore's 7-11.

Here's a cute plane bun Aiza bought for everyone.

Super sweet of her...

Well, time passed so fast we have already been here for 2 months and soon in just 20+ days, we'll be going back to Singapore!!!

Although yes I miss everyone, everything (except foreign "talents") in Singapore, I think I will be missing the times all 10 of us here and one another just 1 meter away from each other.

Ok. I shall end this post here.

Take care everyone!

I miss everyone~

Hi everyone!

Well, it's been one and a half month since I've come to Japan and I must say I miss everyone.

I don't exactly feel homesick but I sure do miss Singapore's food and of course my family and friends.

Maybe it isn't as bad for family part as my sis, my dad, my brother-in-law and my stepmom just came to Japan last week and we did get to have dinner together and also I got to spend some time with my sister and brother-in-law before sending them off at the airport back to Singapore.

It was a little hard I must say and seeing the tears in my sister's eye as I send them off is just hurting.

*Gosh. As I'm recalling this now, tears are in my eyes*

But ya! I'll be back in 38 more days so don't be too sad!

I'll work hard here so that I can go back home on time!

As for my mom, well, she's the only person I don't get to see at all as she doesn't own a 3G phone and she's just not IT savvy, I can't video call or Skype her or anything.

All I can do is give her a call over the weekend and talk to her.

We don't talk much to be begin with so our calls are usually really short but it's just enough knowing that everything's fine back home as she's living all alone for these 2-3 months.

As for my friends, I miss hanging out even if it's just a couple of hours or catching a movie over the weekends.

And I must say that really cried when I was watching their performance for Natsu Matsuri this year.

Well, yes, I was not able to join the performance last year, too, but it didn't feel as bad as I was still able to be there on the actual day itself. But this year, I'm just so far away...

Although yes I did get to enjoy myself at Matsuri here in Japan but it's just different without everyone.

No one to do ondos with me and etc.

But ya! I'm gonna be back soon and I just wanna give everyone a hug when I'm back!!!

Ok. That's all for this post.

I'm supposed to be scheduling posts but all these thoughts just came up so I decided to write this wordy post, first.

And oh ya! I found this .gif image in my Google folder so I decided to post it, too.

I'll try my best to blog as often as possible.

In the meantime, subscribe to my YouTube channel tsuriki13 and tsuvlog13 !

See you again soon!

Living in Japan

Hi everyone!

So like mentioned in my previous post, I am now in Japan and here is where I'm gonna be in the next 2months plus alright.

I must say that I am happy to be able to like live here not as a normal tourist as it has always been a wish of mine to stay in Japan for a period of time, best if I get to experience the whole 4 seasons.

But this feeling I have been having is just very complicated.

I don't know how to describe it as I am here all alone and I only have my batch mates with me!

Everyone's awesome but the feeling of you being unable to see your family and friends and loved ones every other day is just so so different.

But no matter what, I will do my best here and complete what I need to do, what is most important right now!

In this process, I really hope to have support from everyone to help me carry on.

Ok! Emotional stuff aside!

Now to share with you a little of the awesomeness of the whole staying in Japan thing I am in now~!

Starting off with my flight to Japan on Tuesday.

It was my very first time flying on a Japanese airline and I must say that I was really looking forward to it!

Unlike the normal peanuts, we got Japanese rice crackers as our little snack!

And SEE!!! NINO!!!

I was super happy when I was flipping through the in-flight magazine to see what movies and stuff they were offering for my 7 hours flight to Japan and I saw Nino's Platinum Data!!!

I was supposed to watch it in the cinemas with Himeko but she heard from her friend that it isn't very nice and Nino only appeared 1/4 of the movie?

Well, I must say, Himeko. YOU MISSED IT!!!

It's a super awesome movie (but not one you should watch when you're sleepy)!
And please~ Not only did Nino appear throughout the movie, there is like "two" of him!

Ok.. It took me about 6 hours to finish the 2 hour plus movie as I was really sleepy on my morning flight so I watched a little, slept a little and woke up to watch a little then go back to sleep so on so forth till I finished the movie.

But still... AWESOME!

I think more of guys will like this movie then girls.. but still nice!
Go watch!!!

For the first time in my life I was actually full from the meal served on a flight.

Hmm.. or did my appetite just got smaller? Hmm...

Both Vicky and I got special Asahi mineral water instead of the usual normal one.

Little bits that made me happy during my boring flight. LOL

You can also check out my short video for day 1!

My hotel room isn't very big but I really like it!

It's all cosy and just enough for one person!

That evening, we just went out to somewhere nearby for dinner and we decided to get 牛丼 (beef bowl).

My spring onion filled beef bowl with raw egg and cold tofu set!

Well, I guess many people will go like "eeeee" when they see spring onions but well, I like it!

Muahahahaha~

Ok. That's all for this post.

Gonna go change and am gonna head out soon to get some food then study study study!

[思い]Goodbye Singapore~

Scheduled Post

Hihi everyone!

Well, as you are reading this post, I'm most probably boarding my flight towards Tokyo now.

If you have been following my Twitter or Instagram, you would have realised that I've been saying that I'm gonna be flying soon.

No, it's not for leisure.

I'm gonna be there for work for the next 2 months plus.

So ya, I was busy with my Japanese language lessons the past 3 weeks before heading over to Japan.

I must say that I am very glad to be able to go back to Ikoma to study even though this time round it is because of work unlike the past...

But ya! I am looking forward to living in Japan the next 2 months plus but also at the same time, I am already starting to miss my families, my friends.

No matter what, like my sis said, this is gonna be the longest time I'm away from home, away from Singapore.

Ok. Settling down, I'll start blogging again and more on my daily life hopefully and share with you my experiences from living in Japan, working in Japan!

I'll also blog on my meet ups with friends.

I will also be making short videos like in the video below and upload them onto my vlog channel.

Random: Work life

Random Daily Stuff

Hi everyone!

Ok~ I know I do not blog about my work (almost at all) and many people have been asking me where do I work and stuff like that.

Well.. No I will not annouce where am I working at.
If you see me at my workplace, I will not deny working there.

So yup!

My normal work makeup-look recently.

I've been getting really tired as I'm busy with work and etc etc etc.
Even most of my off-dayas from work are spent on events and stuff.
Rarely do I even have the chance to sleep in!

So yes! I just skip putting on falsies when I go to work unless I woke up early and am super in the mood that day.

Just like a few weeks ago! I did proper Gyaru make! LOL

Photo taken with Jezemine!

And these few days, I've started posting photos on GifYo.com again!

Oh ya! If you have an account on GifYo.com, follow me!!!
My username is Tsuriki! Heehee~

Just me and Jezemine

Add on Shu Zhen

Add on Shirley today!

*Oki. The .gif today was not saved properly thus not making any sense*

I just wanna say I'm really glad doing what I'm doing now, working at my workplace now even though many of my relatives seriously do not like me working here, even my dad.

But as or current, I really treasure all my colleagues and I must say that I am working very happily with (almost) everyone!

*ahem* There's always someone somewhere everyone dislikes so yup, it's a norm.

BUT! Those people are not gonna affect me cos I don't work with them often!
Muahahahaha!!!

Oki! That's all for now!

Have a great weekend ahead!

Sleepy head Tsuriki

Hi everyone!

Ok.. I'm actually blogging at work now.

Doing something with my hands to keep myself awake till my work ends in 20+ mins' time!

*Random photo I found in my photo album where I upload all the photos I use on my blog*

I must say I am SUPER tired now.

The night before I only slept for like 5 hours?

And last night I slept for like only 2 hours I guess!

That means I slept about 4-5am this morning and had to wake up around 7am for work as I have training session to attend this morning.

So ya, technically speaking I worked from 9am to 10pm today.

Gosh am I sleepy now!

I'm sure I will sleep well tonight alright.
I can even sleep while standing now!!!

Oki.

That's all for now.
I'll be back blogging soon!

Hong Kong Trip 2012 - Day 6

Travelogues

Hi everyone!

Ok. Back blogging on my Hong Kong trip!
Yes, I still have not finished blogging about this whole trip!

But! It's soon ending!
Which means I will soon be giving away the special Fairy Tale Hello Kitty!

So day 6, we all woke up early that morning as we were meeting our friend Jaeson for Dim Sum!

My super slack outfit of the day

It sure had been a long time since I saw last him ever since he moved back to Hong Kong.

And here's our anxious Itsuki who seriously couldn't wait to finish his food as we were heading back all the way to the Official AKB Shop in Hong Kong before he and Daniel catch their flight back to Singapore which was in just a few hours' time!

Ok. I must admit that I got lazy naming all the different Dim Sum.
They are mostly the usuals.

So.. ya! Just look at the photos and drool, okay? LOL

Yummy~

So after our breakfast, we headed to the AKB Shop in which I only managed to snap this blur shot.

I'm sorry. No photography allowed.

Satisfied Itsuki with the AKB Shop sign!

So after AKB shop, Jaeson had to head back to work, Itsuki and Daniel headed back to their hotel to get their luggage and head to the airport.

As for me and my bf, we headed back to our hotel to get a nap before heading out to meet Fook Yu who just flew back to Hong Kong the day before in the afternoon.

We went for a little shopping before settling down that a Japanese restuarant for buffet dinner.

Yeah my caramel corn!

Help Tiphanie got her Korilakkuma masks from Watsons

Gosh was I tempted to get Rilakkuma, Korilkkuma and Kiirotori masks for myself!
They are just super cute!!!

But no, I didn't. Thinking of the amount of masks I have at home...
NO!!!!

Ok. Back to food.

Their menu.

My trying-to-be-funny bf squeezed his wasabi into the shape of poop.

Ya~ very funny~

Our pathetic sashimi.

Apparently when you state "1" on the paper, they only serve you 1 slice of sashimi.

But when we wrote "10", only 5 came. Hmmm...
Unfair treament!
Why the coupl beside us got so much sashimi!

There were only 2 of them, but 3 of us!
LOL

Soup

Pathetic prawn tempura

Our random sushi

Seriously, which is Tofu and which is my cream puff?!

And correction, it's ICED cream puff!

Fook Yu seriously was not joking. She used quite an amount of strength trying to split the cream puff to take photo.

Oki! That's all for this post!

See you soon!

XOXO Tsuriki
