#tsuVacation: Charlie Brown Cafe

Hi everyone!

Ok. I am still trying my best to update more often and regularly.

Today I'm gonna share with you my brunch at Charlie Brown Cafe Hong Kong when I was there for my vacation earlier this month.

If you do not know, I'm actually a fan of Snoopy since I was a little girl.

Reason being, my parents got separated when I was 8? and I hardly get to see my dad that time ever since he moved out. One day after school, my dad came to pick me up and we went for lunch together then we headed to the arcade. At the arcade, my dad actually caught a Snoopy tote bag and Snoopy tissue box cover for me.

So ever since then, I love Snoopy as it reminds me of the little fatherly love I get when I was a little girl.

So ya! Finally le danna san brought me to the Charlie Brown Cafe in Hong Kong which he goes every year when he goes back.

The previous time we went to HK 4 years back, he did not bring me there. So sad.

But yeah! I've visited Charlie Brown Cafe HK!

Checked!

Got some brunch there and this is the mini burgers that le danna always order.

Mini burgers that is actually pretty filling.

My all-day breakfast set which portion is seriously huge!

Comes with a cup of orange juice!

Slurp slurp

I must say that the food there is awesome.

Seriously, if the cafe in Singapore has food half the standard as this cafe in Hong Kong, I may visit every 1-2 months.

But sadly... this is not the case.

If you do go to Hong Kong and am a fan of Snoopy, don't forget to drop by!

Address: 58-60 Cameron Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

Okay! That's all for this post!
Hope I didn't make you hungry!

Signing off, Tsuriki.

#tsuVacation : Lunch at Big Pack in Mongkok!

Blogging from Hong Kong now!

Landed this morning and coincidently my primary school friend Kathy also came to Hong Kong this morning so she waited for me after she landed before we took the train together.

Yes, you did not read it wrongly, my primary school friend.

I know her since Primary 1 which means it's 20 years ago... *Gosh! I feel old!*

After checking in, I headed out with my danna for some shopping and had lunch at one of my favourite restaurants in Hong Kong, Big Pack Cafe.

You can read more about them here: http://hk.bigpack.com/en/about/bigpack-cafe/

I love their food ever since my last HK trip 4-5 years back. And ever since then, my danna will always come back yearly whenever he is back in HK.

Pumpkin Soup which came together with the lunch set.

Grilled Chicken Chop with Curry on Rice

Yums~ food is as good as remembered and portion is big, too!

We also met our HK friend, Jessica for dinner and desserts!

Ok. I shall post all my haul at the end of my vacation.

Good night everyone!

Signing off,
Tsuriki.

Hong Kong Trip 2012 - Day 7

Travelogues

Hi everyone!

Yeah! Day 7 of my Hong Kong trip!
The second last day!

Outfit of the day:
Top - Bought in Mongkok area
Cardigan - Uniqlo
Bottoms - Lowrys Farm
Shoes - Native

Looking back at this photo made me miss my apricot hair lots!
Love the colour of it after it faded!

Pretty, right?

Anyways, so here's the leopard print pants that I've been wearing recently.

It's really very comfortable!

I'm still thinking of getting another pair of Pants Leggings from Lowrys Farm but I just can't decide whether to get a plain one or printed one.

Argh~ Fustrating!!! LOL

So bf and I met up with Fook Yu for a little shopping before we settled down for lunch at BigPack, a German Western Restaurant.

*I wanted Hong Kong style food, but.. oh well... *

I really like the whole theme and decor of the place.

Cosy~ Hahaha!

Ok. Did not camwhore much during the trip so I took some photo while waiting for our food!

And soon, food was served!

My Ice Lemon Tea that came with my meal

Soup of the Day served with bread

Sausages for us to share

Oh gosh~ Just thinking back on the taste made me drool!

Dessert, cheesecake!

OMG! This cheesecake is sooo nice that it's totally worth a whole day's of calories on it!

If you're interested and going Hong Kong, why not go there for a meal?

派格餐廳 Bigpack Cafe
地址 : 旺角花園街76A號3樓
(Bigpack Cafe 3/F, 76A Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok)

It's pretty easy to spot as just below the restaurant, it's a 3-level Nike shop!

So after lunch, we headed to the arcade where it was like a routine have-to-go place for Fook Yu and my bf?

Oh well... What to do? I'm the only one that feels Singaporean in Hong Kong when I'm with them!

Fook Yu giving her skills to a test to see if she could catch a Doraemon for me!

So nice right? (*^^*)

And yea! I managed to make the 2 of them take Purikura with me!

Muahahaha!!!

Next! Followed by more and more and more and more shopping!!!

Double-Park, where you could get quite a huge range of Street Wear Brands' items!

Bought a top from there but so far I only wore it.. once? =X

So wanted to get a Simpsons tee BUT it's super expensive!

Bought from Japanese Brands' socks from a warehouse sale

Authentic MURUA Pearl Fake Collar for like only $10SGD?!

*call me lucky oh~*

My cute backpack from the arcade building?

Ok. Seriously am super lost. Just followed the people yo~

LOL

After shopping, we were all really tired so we headed back to my hotel to get some rest.

In the evening, Fook Yu went home while bf and I went to our friend's house for dinner!

And here's all the mouth-watering food that my friend's dad prepared for us!

*Please forgive me for the bad quality photos as they were taken with my phone then*

*I don't know why but I just feel that whenever I've having a meal with elders, it's not polite to just snap snap snap photos*

*PS. I passed my bf my phone to take the photos*
*So technically, I'm not being impolite!*

HUGE scallop!

SEE! I already ate half of it and it still is able to block out my eye!

Oki! That's all for Day 7!

Now for question time for the FairyTale Hello Kitty Giving!

Question: Which is the very first FairyTale Hello Kitty I bought during my trip?

Hong Kong Trip 2012 - Day 6

Travelogues

Hi everyone!

Ok. Back blogging on my Hong Kong trip!
Yes, I still have not finished blogging about this whole trip!

But! It's soon ending!
Which means I will soon be giving away the special Fairy Tale Hello Kitty!

So day 6, we all woke up early that morning as we were meeting our friend Jaeson for Dim Sum!

My super slack outfit of the day

It sure had been a long time since I saw last him ever since he moved back to Hong Kong.

And here's our anxious Itsuki who seriously couldn't wait to finish his food as we were heading back all the way to the Official AKB Shop in Hong Kong before he and Daniel catch their flight back to Singapore which was in just a few hours' time!

Ok. I must admit that I got lazy naming all the different Dim Sum.
They are mostly the usuals.

So.. ya! Just look at the photos and drool, okay? LOL

Yummy~

So after our breakfast, we headed to the AKB Shop in which I only managed to snap this blur shot.

I'm sorry. No photography allowed.

Satisfied Itsuki with the AKB Shop sign!

So after AKB shop, Jaeson had to head back to work, Itsuki and Daniel headed back to their hotel to get their luggage and head to the airport.

As for me and my bf, we headed back to our hotel to get a nap before heading out to meet Fook Yu who just flew back to Hong Kong the day before in the afternoon.

We went for a little shopping before settling down that a Japanese restuarant for buffet dinner.

Yeah my caramel corn!

Help Tiphanie got her Korilakkuma masks from Watsons

Gosh was I tempted to get Rilakkuma, Korilkkuma and Kiirotori masks for myself!
They are just super cute!!!

But no, I didn't. Thinking of the amount of masks I have at home...
NO!!!!

Ok. Back to food.

Their menu.

My trying-to-be-funny bf squeezed his wasabi into the shape of poop.

Ya~ very funny~

Our pathetic sashimi.

Apparently when you state "1" on the paper, they only serve you 1 slice of sashimi.

But when we wrote "10", only 5 came. Hmmm...
Unfair treament!
Why the coupl beside us got so much sashimi!

There were only 2 of them, but 3 of us!
LOL

Soup

Pathetic prawn tempura

Our random sushi

Seriously, which is Tofu and which is my cream puff?!

And correction, it's ICED cream puff!

Fook Yu seriously was not joking. She used quite an amount of strength trying to split the cream puff to take photo.

Oki! That's all for this post!

See you soon!

XOXO Tsuriki
