It was YCDay! Claudia's big wedding day!



I took a day off from work and headed to Shunji Matsuo for hair and scalp treatment before going for Claudia's wedding dinner!



My uber dry hair



I have no idea why but I guess hair extensions just doesn't suit me.



My real hair got even more dry after I had extensions on.
That's really weird cos that should NOT happen!



Gotten my hair wash first before putting on all the treatment



It felt really good like a diva as I had 5 people doing my hair at a time! （笑）

New hair @ Shunji Matsuo

Hi everyone!

Okay~ I', sure by now many would have already noticed my change of hair sponsor and even watched my YouTube video where I did a vlog for my new hair process at Shunji Matsuo.

Finally I'm bloggin on it proper now!

I'm really really sorry for the lack of updates as I'm really caught up with work recently and if you're following me on twitter, you would have realised that I've been ending work like 11pm plus for quite a few nights already and even after I reached home after work, I do sometimes continue my work.

Not only that, my work recently starts earlier, too.

So basically what do I do when I get home is just shower and straight to bed.
I don't even have the energy to switch on my laptop!

Ok. No more nagging.
Now back to the post proper.

So I've gotten my new hair colour and extensions last month at Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio.



I would like to take this oppurtunity to tell everyone that Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio is not the same as I*CON Shunji Matsuo.
The main thing is still at their main hair studio which has been moved to the Heerens a few months back, on the 5th Level.

Hi everyone!

I understand that some of you would wanna get clip-on hair extensions but I'm really sorry that I'm unable to open one soon as I'm busy with work and etc.

Hairdo tutorial

i had a tag on my blog a few days back asking me how i did my hairdo for open house last week. and like i've replied that tag, i would post up a tutorial and here it is now!

i have to say that this is the best i could do without the help of anyone helping me with the taking of photos and stuff.

so here's what we're doing today!


and the things we need:



1. a piece of hair wig -- to make you seem as if you have more hair for the bun.
you can purchase it at daiso. there's the straight hair and curly hair one sold at daiso but i've got the curly hair one as it look more natural.

2. a piece of hair extensions.
this is actually kinda optional if your hair is already long.
i got my extension from a spree like almost a year ago so... but oh well, you can get one at quite a number of places nowadays.
NO WORRIES PEOPLE WITH SHORT HAIR LIKE ME!
hahahaha...

3. some black thin rubber bands.
buy the good quality ones! you do not want your pretty hairdo to fall in the middle of the day. the reason i like to use this kind of rubber bands is because it wouldnt be easy visible after doing up my hair. pretty purpose.

4. some black hair pins.

5. some accessories (optional)



so are you ready?



1. divide your hair leaving only a small section of your hair. tie the rest and pin it up of something so that if will not distract you.



divide the small section area half your ear level.



2. clip on your extensions. and for people who has long hair, well, skip this step.



always ensure that is clips on well!



and tada! you have long hair now!



3. let down just a little bit of your hair and tie a side pig tail.



by letting down some hair, this will cover up and hide your extensions.



4. tie the rest of your hair into a pony tail. just a simple one will do.



5. back-comb your ponytail. you can replace this step by curly your hair if you want to.



5. tie the ponytail into a bun.
or should i say, tie the ponytail again but dont pull all the hair out?



6. now here's the tricky part.
put the hair wig round the hair bun that you've just tie LOOSELY and pin your hair and the wig together inwards out then under your bun.

repeat step till your wig is secured to the bun.



and you will get this!



but then you're not fully done yet!


7. put on the acessories that you want



and there you have it! pretty hairdo for the whole day!

i felt abit bo liao and just kinda wanted to compare how i've changed for the past years sinced i started blogging.
why?
cause that was the same year i started my WhoLivesNearYou? account which i just had refers from my profile there to my blog.
i was like "huh? WhoLivesNearYou? does anyone still use that?!"

hahaha...

i think quite a handful of you people also have an account there which is already collecting dust for... years like me?
but of course, for overseas readers you may not know about this.

it's a community like friendster and stuff.
however, you get to know people who lives in your neighbourhood, near you and stuff.
but... it was seriously boring then which resulted in me not logging in there anymore.
and ahem.
it still is.

i've added quite some of my friends and seriously, no one updated their photos and stuff.
many of them who are already working for a couple of years but their profile still states "student" for their occupation.
hahahaha...
really had quite a good laugh.

so... ok.

time for you to laugh at me photos.
hahahaha...
but first i have to admit that i found the nicest photo i could find of me during that year lah...
or rather my favourite photo of that particular year.

i starting blogging when i was in my secondary 3 days...
year 2004.



i was super cam-whoring that time with my newly made earrings by myself and the camera my sister's boyfriend got her.
wahahaha...
it was the only digital camera in the house then.

then year 2005, secondary 4 days.



the best photo i could find as i seriously had to favourite that year.
and seriously i will not blog my prom photos.
they are scary enough to be place in a post on my blog already and seriously...
i looked horrible during prom!

next on i started my poly life, freshie in year 2006.



taken in august after my birthday someday where i got super bored and started cam-whoring.
and yup!
i was in the dress i got myself for birthday that year during a shopping day out with jess and eugenia at far east plaza.

next, last year my poly year 2 days.



favorite photo of the year which actually attracted the most number of views on my friendster account in just a few days once i uploaded it as my primary photo.
but soon after i changed it, the number of views started to fall again...
hahahaha...
people are just so realistic.

this year as in presently now.



believe many of you have seen this photo already on my blog.
currently on favorite photo of myself and also the wallpaper on my mobile.
i set it as my mobile cause of course i love this photo cause i look freaking lady-ly pretty in it and another reason is because i'm sad that dann no longer put our photo on his mobile as wallpaper so i decided not to put a photo that has his face on mine.
hahaha...
pretty right~?
the magic of hair extensions.

they make you pretty and so lady in just minutes!

ok...
i guess nowadays extensions are so common and stuff that almost everyone is doing it.
however, from my various friends that did extensions many told me that it can be quite uncomfortable especially the beginning as you're not used to it and stuff.
so personally, i prefer clip-on extensions.
why?
cause i dont have to go through all those uncomfortable thingy and stuff.
i can just take it out once i reached home and wash them dry them much more easily too.

ah~ i wanna get more of it as the amount of hair that dropped for the past few weeks is actually quite a lot.
hmm...
i shall save money and faster get some more.
sadly, the ones that i have now are no longer in-stocks in that taiwan site that i've gotten them already.
oh well..
just hope that the ones they have now and if i'm getting them will be the same as the ones i have now.

oh ya!
one more point to why i prefer clip-on extensions than the ones you get that are so called "permanent" ones.
well...
you get to tie your hair in more ways without people knowing and seeing the clips or metal pieces and stuff on your hair.
hahahaha...
