#TsurikiReviews : Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Hi everyone!

I wonder how many of you are still reading my blog.

If you are reading this, thank you so much for still remembering me and reading my blog!

Today I'll be reviewing the Tattoo Liner of Kat Von D which many people raved about.

Retail Price: USD $20 / SGD $32

I got mine a few months back and have been using it since.

I like that the tip is pretty sharp and the ink is pretty black. Although the tip is sharp, it isn't too fine that I need to go over my eyeliner a few times to achieve a nice wing.

If you are looking for an eyeliner with super fine tip for the natural look, this may not be what you are looking for.

This eyeliner is pretty rub-proof which is good if you have a habit of rubbing your eyes which you shouldn't be doing (like me, guilty).

It states that this eyeliner is smudge-proof but I seriously do not feel so.

I have pretty oily eyelids and wearing this eyeliner for the past few months hace been giving me panda eyes all the time.

To be honest, for something that costs this much, I expected it to be better.

You may ask me, why do I still use it then?

Well... I just don't wanna waste the money spent alright.

If you ask me, will I repurchase it?

The answer will be a No.

Ok. That's all for this short review.
Hope that it will be helpful to anyone of you reading this!

Bye bye everyone!

K-Palette Event @ Fika Swedish Café & Bistro

Hi everyone!

Ok~ I'm guilty AGAIN! I'm Sorrrrry~!!!

One the 10th of July, Himeko and I went for the K-Palette Event at Fika Swedish Café &Bistro. The nice cafe is somewhere near Haji Lane, great place to stop for some food while shopping around the area!

And yes! I was super excitied as the event was for K-Palette which is one of my all-time favourite brands especially their waterproof deep black eyeliner! I have been using it for a few months already ever since my previous eyeliner was used up!

And of course I was wearing the K-Palette Waterproof Deep Black eyeliner in all my photos for the past few months! Not any other brand oh~!

Ok~ I seriously feel that it's time to come up with a superstar-like signature for myself.
My signature looks so... Primary school-ish~

*emo*

Huge K-Palette banner and boards around the event area! Heehee~

K-Palette products and Awards won!
See! They're AWESOME!!!

We had a live demo by Japanese Makeup Artist Sawako Shiratoriさん!

The Pro's Tools!!!

Shiratoriさん demo-ed 2 different styles of makeup with K-Palette's range of products
for Kakkoi style and Kawaii style!

Kakkoii style (Left) & Kawaii style (Right)

Shiratoriさん actually used the K-Palette's waterproof Deep Brown eyeliner for Kawaii style instead of Deep Black for a softer, femine look.

And of course! We're already at Fika Swedish Café & Bistro...

FOOD!!! Menu of the day!!! Muahahahaha~~~!!!!

Green Tea

My Namae(Name in Japanese) Mashmallow with the 'Ki' missing!!!

Cream of Mushroom!!!

Ok~ I did not take photo for the Chicken and Fish Himeko and I had for our main dish.
But in short, OISHII!!!!

A photo with Jiayi before leaving!

Sadded, Jiaqi left early for the NewPaper New Face Search so I didn't have the chance to take photo with her. =(

Himeko and I were SUPER happy and shocked to receive SO MANY K-Palette products!!! OMG!

My K-Palette LOVE!!!

*Photo above is 2 people's share*

ROCK ON PEOPLE WITH K-PALETTE!!!

Like finally I got my bright eye roll-on gel again!
I find it good but Claudia and Weijie don't see the results.
Weird~
Maybe cos I'm really generous with it! LOL

I also got some other monthly supplies alright.

Lastly, before I end this post is a short review for DollyWink and MJ's eyeliner.

Before deciding which eyeliner to get, I actually posted on my fanpage and I guess many of you just can't really decide which to buy, too, if you were me.

So here's a short review!

I was wearing MJ's liquid eyeliner in the photo above.

Here's how they look when I drew them both on my hand.
Ok. Brand new DollyWink eyeliner will be as black as the MJ one.
Bear in mind that my DollyWink eyeliner is "dying" already. Which is of course why I got a new eyeliner.

I did do a proper review before for DollyWink, MJ and K-Palette eyeliner. Read it here!

Here's a few things I can add on now that I have a black liquid eyeliner from MJ.

1. Both DollyWink and MJ are as black, as dark. So they both stands first place for black-ness.

2. Out of all 3 eyeliners, DollyWink dries the fastest, followed by K-Palette and lastly, MJ.

So if you were to ask me which will I get the next time, it will definitely be DollyWink! Of course, that's if there isn't any other eyeliner that I wish to try and experiment with.

Oki! That's all for now!

Mini Liquid Eyeliner Review

みんな、こんにちは。

There's this hype for Dolly Wink falsies and eyeliners for this week. I went to Ngee Ann City's Watson oulet yesterday and today. To my surprise, many falsies are already sold out. Like... why am I surprised? It's "branded" ar~ I'm surprised cos they are selling for quite an ex price!

Okay... I got the liquid eyeliner today and was actually having quite a hard time on deciding whether to get the Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner or Majolica's liquid eyeliner. I ended up giving Dolly Wink a try and am now gonna share the little experiment I did with you!

Here's the 3 brands of liquid eyeliner I am using and have tried so far: (All Japan brands)

  • Dolly Wink (waterproof)- Super HOT right now!

  • Majolica Majorca (waterproof)- Has been super highly raved for the past 1-2 years!

  • K-Palette (non-waterproof)- Once rated Number 1 on Cozycot!!! (Not sure about now...)

  • As you can see, I don't have a black liquid eyeliner for Majolica but I believe that the quality of them will not differ just because of which colour it is.

Comparing Dolly Wink and K-Palette, Dolly Wink is defintly more black and much much more defined. Sorry but my Majolica one is not able to be compared in this section. But still, you can see that the colour is very full and clear, too.

So I left the eyeliners on my hand for quite some time while I finish eating my burger for lunch.

    about 15 mins later...

    RUB TEST!

I understand that many girls will actually rub your eyes forgetting that you have makeup on like me just as long as I do not have falsies on. =p

*I rubbed my hand till it's red already lor~*

No. 3: Dolly Wink (eyeliner actually fade quite a little)
    No. 2: K-Palette
    No. 1: Majolica stayed BEST!

    Next, water test!

Under running water like as if you're tearing/crying? LOL

    No. 3: K-Palette (duh~ It's non-waterproof in the first place)
No. 1: Dolly Wink & Majolica. Both equally good!

    Next, rub again!

This time I rubbed only a little. Don't really have an exact purpose for doing this but I guess from here you can also see which is easily removed (as let's stick to this ba)

No. 3: K-Palette (color stain remains)
No. 2: Majolica (only a little remained)
No. 1: Dolly Wink (very very little remained!)

I can't really say which is better but I'll defintly not get the K-Palette one again unless Singapore decided to bring in the waterproof version permenantly like Japan does have.

If you're someone who tend to rub your eyes, I would advise you to get Majolica.

If you're someone that cries a lot like me, both Dolly Wink and Majolica is equally good for you.

If you want some easily removed, I guess Dolly Wink would a better choice.

Ok. That's all for my little experiment.
Hope this helped you a little especially in this week if you're still considering whether to get the Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner which is only available till next Thursday?

    Have a good night everyone!
